I am going to tick the GURU's off and tell you about one of these so called secrets. The secret is called "Article Marketing" This is a process of you writing rich content articles. These articles are Google, Yahoo, and MSN like to look for. By doing this, you gain exposure from people reading your articles. You become the niche expert now. Also, your PR ranking in Google will increase.

The following article directories are favored by the
(1)Google search engine,
(2)ezinearticles,
(3)squidoo,
(4)buzzle articles, and
(5)searchwarp.

Submit your articles to these directories, as well as other high ranking PR directories, for more credibility.

You should be allowed to place a link back to your site in the resource box. If you want to SEO your article for a particular keyword and have it rank higher in Google. Do not use a generic link, use a hyper link with the keyword you are trying to target. For example, if your business focuses on selling marketing tips, then you would hyper link your site in the resource box using that keyword, "marketing tips."

Google recognizes this as anchor text and tends to rank your website higher for that particular keyword. Try and write articles at least two times a week ans submit them to the correct directories. When you tend to give something away with value, you tend to get things back.
